    Wink MT 01 Exhaust

    Hey guys,

Looking at having a custom straight through exhaust built for the MT O1 and was wondering:

    1) If anyone can recommend anyone who does this kind of work?

    2) If anyone would think there would be any issues with back pressure and significant loss of power?

Bike already has a PCIII, full opened air box, K&N Air Filter and Staintune mufflers. Has also been dynoed with good results but I am seeking more noise

    Any help is appreciated.

I hope you don't have early starts or late nights often, your neighbors will hate you forever.

Also, Roo racing do some custom work but you have to take the bike to them so they can measure it up first.

Are you able to advise what your beast is putting out with these mods on the dyno? Mine just came back from it's first service sporting Staintune slip ons, Power Commander and K&N Filter. It now needs a dyno as there are a couple of odd spots in the power delivery so am curious what rear wheel horsepower and torque yours is spitting out.

    Yeh mate..

it gained an increase of about 16hp over the original so it now sits at 104hp

in torque it gained a huge increase of 22nm so it now sits at 137nm

you definatley see the difference on the graphs will all the gear tuned well, more mods for me to come.

I read everywhere that it puts out 150nm of torque but mine came to me with a mild 115nm so dunno what has happened over the years!

out of curiosity what year? and how many ks?

Mine is an 09 model, but I just purchased it as new with zero km from 5 Star Yamaha. It now has 1200km on the odometer.

I'm just working out which dyno place to take it to, preferably somewhere who knows how to work with air cooled twins. (Where did you take yours? How was the experience?).

Mine was all done before I bought her, I've had a few issues with the PCIII lately seems to not like giving the correct amount of fuel...

Oops I've been telling Porky Pies Dyno sheets tell me she has: 96.75hp and 122.17ft-lbs..

I do not know where I pulled the other figures from lol think i was looking at the other bike...yes I was!

I had mine done at Wanye Paddo's (Patterson) down in Bunbury....I have to go back to re-fit another PC and the new exhaust but I have dealt with them over the phone and they are superb, really top class...they are my recommendation
