Rear brake not activating brake light

Guys, noticed that when rear brake is used the brake light isn't coming on. Its on a presure switch by the look of things but not sure how to check/trace where the problem might be? does anyone have any suggestions?

Connect and disconnect both the wires (to each other) and see if the light works then?

Get a multimeter, remove the wires from the pressure switch and attach the multimeter to check continuity. Press brake. If you do get continuity then the switch is fine and look at the wiring.

Is the light comming on from the front brake? Could be as simple as needing a new globe. Otherwise do what others have suggested, disconnect the pressure switch and use a multimeter to check continuity.
