    tinted blinkers

for anyone out there that cant stand them crapy orange colored things that stick out the side of your bike.i have solved your problem, its called Tamiya PS-31 smoke. soled in a little spray can from any good hobby shop,i got mine from Sik hobbys in rockingham.
took blinker covers off and gave 3 light coats on outside of cover slowly darkerning with each coat, left overnight and gave a quick polish in morning. thay look so much better and still give plenty of blink in operation. hope this can help

I think as long as the light being emitted is orange/amber it's all good, some new cars have clear outer lenses with orange/amber LEDs. But I've also seen a few American cars running around Perth with combined brake/indicator lights in red. Which might mean indicator lights don't always have to be orange.

I have flush mount indicators that are "smoke", my side fairing is black and so is the flushmount but when it flashes it's amber. Never had an issue with cops ......... yet, tho I do still have the standard rear indicators.

but if they're amber some people may mistake them for brake lights even though they are flashing. yes we have some silly people on the roads.

i also have flush mount side indicators (smoke) witch never been pointed out by cops in the 4 years i have owned the bike so i painted the rear indicators to match. i also have a DB dark smoke windshild with matching dark smoke headlight covers coming in the post from powerbronze.
if anyone knows rules or had trouble with smoke windshilds , indicators ect. not that it makes a difference but would be interested to find out.

yep did the same before too.
I sprayd the outside but it was too dark so I just used a bit of brasso to polish it off to get the right shade. too easy and it looks great as long as you dont go too dark I dont think you'll have a problem.
