2010 Official Making A Difference Ride thread

Good afternoon long haired freaky people!

The eve of the big day is upon us and I think it would be fitting to have an official thread for the ride that we should all know and love.

MAD Ride is on again tomorrow, Sunday the 21st of November, leaving Stratton Oval at approx 10AM. Get there early for food, drinks, MAD Bike tickets, and a chat before we head off to the Toodyay Motorcycle Festival.

Remember also that there is plenty of time to get to the Kings of Wanneroo after the ride, and that all riders with their MAD wristbands will get discounted entry to tomorrows racing too! Special thanks to MCRCWA for that!

Should be a great day, don't be turned off by the weather, Toodyay is supposed to be rather nice tomorrow...

If you have any questions about who MAD is, why we're doing this, how we're doing this, when it starts ends and middles, or if you need a shadow, can shadow or have any other random questions, this is the place for you..

So what kinda route is the ride taking? im guessing a fairly direct one?

Pretty much.
Few Left handers leaving the oval, a right hander onto Toodyay rd and then straight on till morning.
Parking wise we have a nice big carpark at the end with marshalls to direct everyone to where they need to go.

Furthermore to all the guys and girls that are leeearning (eg, Me), as well as anyone on a slow bike (eg, Viper) or a scooter (eg, Deej), there will be a "special" pack just for us...

After reading a few threads just wanna know like do we have to pay to go on the ride or anything. Sorry been away for a while and just got back so once again apologies for what may seem silly questions. Is it just a case of bring our selves, our ride and a smile on the face and that's it??

Start Point: Meet at Farrall Oval (Jecks Place, Stratton) from 8am
Departure 10am for the Toodyay Motorcycle Festival

Registration Fee: $10 on day (gold coin donation for a pillion)
Proceeds to Shenton Park Spinal ward and Spinal Research.

Coffee, food, refreshments and M.A.D. bike raffle tickets will be available.
