Festival of Speed; now with added MAD

    Morning folks!

The last public appearance of the MAD bike is on this Sunday at the Perth Festival of Speed at Barbagello Raceway. With Mark Webber scheduled to do a lap of our favourite 4 corner raceway in his Red Bull Racing F1 car, we think it's a great place to round out the physical ticket sales of the MAD bike.

If you're planning on going to the show, make sure you come and visit us, and if you weren't, get your passes ASAP! I mean how often is it you get to see an F1 car at Barbs?

Last chance people, don't miss out!

Going nuts here. Selling more at festival of speed than last weeks MAD Ride.

Odds are this years bike will be going to a non riding member of the public. Its a shame. It would be great to see it won by a PSB'er and ridden.

If you are not coming down today you still have a week or so to get your tickets online.

whoa, MAD bike looked hot, bought a couple tickets, cheers.
Anyone else think the F1's demo was a bit of a letdown, dunno what I was expecting but wasnt as insane as I thought it would be and it wouldhave been good to see it go flat out and let us know of a couple lap times.
Besides that it was an awsome day, the superbike demo was tops with some killer wheelies and mad passing, The drifting was a big crowd pleaser and the go-karts were dam impressive with the insane corner speed. A great event with a bit of everything, I hope it becomes an anual thing, i'll definatelly go to one again F1 car or not.

My thoughts were pretty much the same as yours pottz, great day but I thought webber might have gone a bit harder.

The superbike boys put on a great show, rider on the blue Suzuki (Jeremy McWilliams?) massive wheelie down the back straight was awesome.

MAD bike looked fantastic, already have a ticket so didn't pick up one but glad you guys sold lots of tickets.

Looked great guys, i left after Ricciardo dis a few laps so i could miss traffic, its unfortunate the track isnt big enough to see an F1 car at full noise but all the events were mint.

The track is big enough. And he was movin down that hill, seriously quick. But yeah it was a pretty half hearted effort by the red bull guys.

Loved the event, hope it keeps goin. If they run and promote it right, it'l be huge.

I think all the traffic problems stemmed from the late start, and arrival of people. V8's croud is still bigger, but lots of die hards Gettin up there at 5am gets rid of Alot of the traffic

Glad we took a back road in, cut an hour of the line-up. Got half price tickets off of some guys leaving after the first F1 outing. Loved the drift cars, and the super bikes. Couldnt work out why no-one had wet down the grass/sand on the infield, we couldnt see any vehicles when they were running. Am now working on getting permission from the sergeant at arms to come back for the drift battle day on the 11th.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon! Press the brake foot as you roll around the corners, and save the collapse and tie up.

Got my ticket and said hi...

I got there at 9am and didn't have any traffic issues what so ever!!

Set up my little shade shelter and spent the day wandering around with my 6 year old... Only drama we had was with Webber's security when they shoved me outa the way with my boy on my shoulders, I almost fell over as I wasn't expecting it, so I arc'd up and pushed back.. My son was Devo...
    His face after the altercation:

All ended well though as the event organiser (Deech) arranged for Webber to sign the ticket for my son.

His face after getting the ticket signed:
