Looks like a fair few people will make the efford to be in the MAD ride for the first time ever riding on back of a motorbike.
And that is a great and safe way to try something like this.
I think that a great many more are willing to "risk " it" if they did have helmets and to a lesser extend jackets and gloves.
Most of us do have a few older, different helmets etc sitting somewhere in our sheds/garages doinf SFA.
So post them up if they could be used to get more peeps on the MAD ride.
I have a few helmets (different sizes) and even jackets/gloves that I am willing to lend for this good event.

Would anyone mind taking a male pillion? :s I'm thinking about going as a pillion... weigh like 60 kilos at the most.

Edit: Scrap all that ^ unless someone has a helmet they can lend me.

Do you know what size you are?
I've got an old M HJC that the previous owner gave me when I bought my bike.
Not sure what condition it's in, but he only put 2,000ks on the bike so I can't see it being damaged. Got a couple of scuff marks on it but other than that it looks pretty new.

I'd offer to pillion you too, but a) My bike dies under the weight and b) Being a chick, it kinda sucks trying to steer with someone heavier than you on the back. Oh, and c) I don't like sharing

If you don't mind a cruiser, and you aren't a bloke, or a chic with a dick I wouldn't mind having you as a pillion. I have a medium sized fullface helmet(M2R). Never worn and still sitting in its box that I can lend to you.And ofcourse lotsa ear plugs to cancel the noise of the bike
