I have a couple of tiny (ie powered by 3x AAA battery) Unidens.

If someone "responsible" wants to pick them up between now and then, and either return them in as-supplied condition or replace them by Tuesday night, I'm happy to lend them for the cause.

I'll even throw fresh batteries in there

    Range: 15k's+
Battery Life: 15 hours per charge

I have the vehicle mount icom 400Pro.
It can be removed fairly easily, but would need an antenna lead and 12V patch lead made up.

The people using them will be MAD staff and volunteers at Perkerville oval this weekend.

Apart from that shady flamedance character, we're all really nice people
