    Thanks Mel

I was a S & S virgin until today, and to be quite honest I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but Mel's organisation and the rest of the MAD crew of happy helpers made it easy.

Seems alot of people are comparing MAD and the bike show.. whilst there were some schmick bikes at the show, todays display far outstripped it! How was that purple busa that could be raised and lowered!

    Very well done man.

    As requested:

    Best paint - Bike #6
    Best scooter - Bike #9
    Best race bike - SAF!!!!!!!!
Best vintage bike, 25yr or older - Bike #13
    Best trike - Bike #19
    Best lowrider/chopper - Bike #17
    Best cruiser - Bike #22
    Best streetfighter/nakid - Rocket's Gixxer
    Best faired streetbike/sportsbike - Bike #16
    People's Choice - Bike #15, with a special mention for a Yamaha XS 650
    3rd Best In Show - Bike #23 (Kawasaki Z900)
    2nd Best In Show - Bike #33
Best In Show - Bike #5 (Suzuki TL1000R)

That's all the info I have, so if anybody knows what makes/models these bikes were, please post 'em up and flesh out my list a little.

Big ups to Rocket especially for his success, I was admiring his bike well and truly before festivities kicked off, and it is an awesome machine. Nice to see he rode it to the S&S too. I've got nothing against people who trailer their showpiece bikes, but I'll always have respect for those who take the more fun route.

Especially when said bike has a turbo'd 1216cc motor in it. Holy moly...

PLEASE start clapping your hands for the really important people,

Yeet another fantastic part of the MAD ride that I am glad to have been able to see. Great effort guys... some of those bikes were seriously sweet machines!! Was a pleasure to look at them... however I got serious enjoyment from watching everyone leave Shents such a hugh range of bikes!!
