    Talking MAD 2008: Thanks Everyone!

    WOW! What an awesome weekend!

First of all, have to give a huge and hard earned thanks to everyone on the MAD 2008 Commitee this year, without all your hard work our MAD weekend at Northam would not have been the success it was.

Also, thanks must go to all the volunteers and marshalls who helped out over the weekend. Your contributions were also a big part of MADs success and I hope as many of you can help out next year too.

Our supporters and sponsors contributions were also a vital part of the weekend and making the Angry Bee the "must have" prize package that it is. Thanks for your support of MAD 2008 and I hope to have your help in the future too. The PSB staff and admins have also been a great help in 2008 and thanks for your advice and reminders when things got missed and assistance up in Northam at the festival .

Total riders was just on 1,000 bikes on arrival at Northam. Great turnout for our first year with the new ride and with everyone having a successful, safe and enjoyable ride to Northam I would like to suggest we might just be heading back there again. Thanks to everyone who participated and made the ride the great visual spectacle it was.

Next up is the drawing of Angry Bee, the MAD 2008 race team. I hope to see as many people as possible at the PSB Christmas party on the 17th to be there for the draw. There are now only a few tickets left so if you were waiting for a better time to buy some its running out fast .

Once again, Thanks to everyone who was a part of the 2008 MAD Ride, can't wait to see you all again in 2009.

Whilst we are thanking people, I would like to personally thank all the volunteers who helped out in the events, and planning, leading up to the big day itself.

    Things like:

The raffle ticket stalls at Barbagellos, which would have been impossible without your help.

All the people who put their time and effort into the PSB ladies calendar

The help and advice I received in getting the raffle tickets printed

Getting a MAD shirt signed by ALL the riders at the Kings of Wanneroo ( wait for further news on this one )

The creator of the MAD merch, who worked miracles in a very short timeframe to produce top quality gear

    Your efforts are truly appreciated,

    Also, as Dingo said above

Big thanks must go to the PSB admin and staff for all the prods and pokes, mass emails, and all the other assorted assistance you guys gave

Apologies to anyone I may have omitted to mention

Congrats to all who organised the MAD ride, I think things ran a lot smoother than I anticipated with the departure from Parkerville & the arrival & parking at Northam. Was definately the best Festival put on so far (IMO) & I'll def be there again next year, WELL DONE PPL

Also a special thanks to the gents that picked my bike up at Parkerville after it fell over? It fell on the side opposite to the side stand and I was walking over to see them looking it over. Another person known to me confirmed it just went over, had been sitting there for about half an hour before this happened. No damage, maybe it just needed a lie down and a bex powder (old peoples joke)? Gratefull it didnt start a chain reaction!

Anyway thanks again to the rescue team and a great day all round!
