Southerners Meet Point for MAD

Hey all you southerners/southeaters,

Like last year, I propose that a meet point be established at Gateways Maccas, not because the food is any good, but 'cause well, that's what happened last year (before Daise's bike broke down).

That way we can proceed in an orderly non-hoonish procession to shents. The more bikes in a group the better is my moot here!

How 'bout depart at approx 0815, so meeting any time prior to that?

Sound like a plan, and maybe this could be stickied for the duration?

Last Year we left gateways about 0815 - IICR - and we got to shents about 20 mins later, no real traffic at that time on a Sunday - and met a couple of riders on the freeway around Canning Bridge.

I'll be aiming for around 0745 to get a coffee and enjoy the sunshine.

So yes, still happening.

If anyone wants to tie in with closer in meet points, post up here too.

Sure, what time is proposed? Don't really see the need though, as an 0815 depart would get us to shents about0845 - for a 1015 depart - even with a pic-up detour.

Saying that though, we could bring it up to 0800, or see what others wish.

I'll modify the first post if there is a need for it.

Just for those who maybe be even further SOR....

If anyone from Rocko/Mandurah is keen to meet up Sunday morning then shoot a post up here and we'll see how many takers we get and possibly organise a meeting place somewhere in between the two... just an idea at this stage... if its a stupid one then just ignore me

Hello a group of us is meeting up at causeway mc shops. We are leaving there at 8.30 why not swing by and we can all meet up and continue on .. Perhaps we could wait till 8.40 for you guys to get there. The more the better.
