    Special Thanks

The MAD Committee would like to send a special thank you to all the people who went the extra mile over the weekend, their selflessness took a great deal of the load off and were integral to the success of the event.

Karen - Organising numerous ride marshall practice runs pre-event.
Bendito & Elle - Spent all morning at Shents and then right till about 5pm until last bike left Esplanade.
Mockery - Went out of his way asking where can he go next what can he do really wanted to help. I'm told he was even on the phone at 6pm on Sunday still looking for more work to do. Nothing was too much for him.
Emily - Helping in Cloak room and on the stand in addition to a number of important pre-event tasks.
Quiet Lil - Sold tickets till mid afternoon sunday. Did $1,100 of tickets on her own, you are one exceptional yet cheeky young lady.
XS - Neil stepped up where not many could, a massive presence ticket selling at the show and the voice of shents, you were exceptional.
RT Harris - As he will not affectionately be known, the man sells raffle tickets… end of story.. I don't know how he does it, some sort of genetic gift. Richard has also donated a safe to MAD for use at all future events, what a champion!
Dreamer - Spent almost all weekend out in the car park with parking duties, saw her sprinting across the mezzanine level on a number of occasions, with the resources and limited preparation time you had it was an exceptional job.
Shann - Dealing with a crazy, overwhelmed cloakroom.
Rabbit - The man on the spot at Shents, the guys really appreciated your help.
Creme - Still half crippled, Creme came out to help setup in addition to doing some great work for the PSB display and MAD bike.
MattG - Went out of his way to help Tim with the PA, thanks mate.
Zobo - Out to help at Shents bright and early and one of the last to leave with me dropping her home late Sunday night. You are a star, your efforts in selling tickets and prettying up the bike did not go unnoticed.
Calamity: Jane, Jane, Jane… answered a last minute call for help moving the MAD bike, I know you were tired yet you left the show early to go home and be back in time to deliver the bike to Hewie's place Sunday evening.

I am truly sorry if I have forgotten anyone, please if you think anyone has missed out on recognition for going out of their way to make the event the success it was, please let me know so I can ensure they get the thanks they deserve.

    Nath.

Pato did a great job on the parking duties on Friday - he did his own shift, then stuck around during mine, and was there still when Bograt turned up.

Cheers man, your company was welcome on the landing strip.

Your a lucky bastard Ben, I bet it was really tough following my bike for the entire ride. I am guessing the back end of a new honda blade never looked so good.

    Thanks for all your help.

Many other people have helped out not only on the Sunday but Friday & Saturday as well.

Those who saw me running around like a blue arsed fly all weekend and stopped to help me where they could I really really appreciate it.

I am hoping to sit down this week and add to the above list a little further as there are many people worthy of a thankyou for going way beyond simply giving an hour or so of their time.

We will be releasing some numbers soon on funds raised and numbers of participants both into the show and on the ride however believe me when I say that the numbers so far are very impressive and we are very proud and thankful to all that helped.

Just make sure you get a female goat this time. We don't want a repeat of the previous incident.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Was my pleasure to have been part of this great event.

A message to the MAD commitee from my friends that sold tickets at
