I would just like to add a MASSIVE thankyou to those people I roped in to serve on the Registrations and Tickets desks (and including putting up all the signage).

ALL of you were AWESOME, and you didn't put up much of a fight when I asked you to help out.

PSB people are fantastic how they just step up to the plate, so thankyou once again, you made the day run so much smoother.

Now there were a lot of you who volunteered (and I apologise for missing anyone or not remebering your name)(PM me if I have left you off the list)

FJ Steve and RSCW - Selling heaps of tickets at Shents (we had trouble keeping up with enough books)

Morgs - Manning Registrations

Evil11 and his better half - Manning the registrations (and Mrs Evil11 for keeping me up to speed with needs)

XSorXpire - Being a gopher and especially for the 'Toilet Paper' run.

JSXR - who was right there beside me helping me organise and put up a lot of the signage at Shents, made my life easier by being there.

Thankyou ALL.

People I missed so far

Hawkeye - Who was directing traffic and helping manouvre cars.
GSXR - Also helping with the traffic and manning the control point.
Ells - Helping out with the registrations

Sorry I missed listing you guys.

Cheers Gryph (and MAD people)
It was an absolute pleasure to have been of some assistance to the cause.

It was an eye opener selling raffle tickets....from the guy who expected the Stoner Replica to be the "exact same bike as Stoner was riding at Motegi? and if not, why not?" to the fellow who humbled me, by telling me the story of his son (who is a patient at Shents) who was involved in a car accident, broke his neck, and finished his dream of being an AFL player. Seems he had played over 100 games in Kalgoorlie, and was being spied by several clubs, leading up to the accident.

Just hope I can be home for next years ride. Would help a whole lot more...but FIFO sux the big one.

Cheers.

I should be the one thanking you Kim. I was running around doing 27 different things at once, and I asked if you had 5 minutes to help out. Well not only did you help for a couple of hours, but you commandeered a heap of additional helpers.

It's people like yourself that helped Shents to run so well, we got everyone in and out with hardly any drama at all.

In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Pfft, that was nothing, have to say Kim, I had more fun out at the front entrance waving bikes in and weeding out cars I bags that job next year!
Was a pleasure to help out in anyway was needed. And what us little ring-ins did was nothing compared to you and the other "been there from the start die-hards". You guys and girls are brilliant.

ooh, almost forgot FJsteve and the RSCW. They kindly volunteered to help out seeling Stoner raffle tickets, and got absolutely swamped. We had to call for more tickets to be sent out from Scarbs.

Thanks so much guys for your hard work

PS. To the 6 or so people who stayed behind after the ride to help me pack up, I love each and every one of you. GSXR girl and flamedance (the Qld connection ), CBillyR , Melkor and Dr Tina, Xphread and friend, triple treat, gryphen, and the others I've forgotten. We were all packed and out of there by noon, which was fantastic.
