Hopefully to slot into a 750 frame?
There was one on gaytree for $2500 a few days ago.

yeah pretty much what the plan is for my fighter, i did have a look into that one but the 96-97 had better engines and updated gearbox also, made more hp also which is a bonus, there is a built motor with forged pistons ect for 3k on ebay but the engine does not look like its only done 1500kms run in, then i spotted his other engine apparently built by the same people and was stated its never been run since the build and in the photo you can see coolant build up in the usual spots and oil coming out of one of the gaskets, typical of a high km engine, i would warn other people of this guy has me thinking its abit off or it has been built along time ago and is selling it buggered, maybe someone has a mate over in syd that could do a check up for me?

I thought it was a 96. What year is your 750? I ultimately would like to do this to my 750 after a few things get sorted first. Also in mandurah if you need an extra pair of hands when you find a motor.

96 is the b3 engine and 97 was the last of the b engines (B4), if you get the whole bike in 97 you get 3 pot front calipers also, if the forks a good switch to the zx9's also, my zx7 is a 95, the zx9 mod is much simpler with pre 95 only requiring the front engine mount to be drilled out and CDI unit of the zx9, the 96+ bike require more work because the engine changed from 95-96 even the wiring harness is different.

Yeah no prob would be good to have a hand, if you also need any parts i have heaps as the only part of my zx7 that is original is the main frame and fuel tank, everything else like wheels, swingarm, fairings are hanging around.
