GOOD Condition sub-250cc SR/GN/CB cafe project bike

I'm after a TU250x, SR250, GN250 or CB series bike or similar, 250cc or under.
I want an old-school style bike, no plastic fairings or the like.

Needs to be running well as it'll be my daily commute even while modding it up.

    Pre-modded bikes considered too.

No specific price/budget range. Just hit me up with what you've got AND what you want for it.

I am considering selling my '82 GSX 250 soon, I've just done an oil and filter change, bought new brake and clutch levers (not fitted yet) and it's in pretty good nick. Interested to know more?

Will grab some pics for you tomorrow in day light, she's not perfect but runs and lends herself to a spruce up. I'd be looking for $850.

    Tevil, this is her:

It runs good, not perfect, but I have little experience in older bikes to diagnose it. I have found on 2 occasions after 20 mins or so of regular riding the engine will stop as if there is no fuel. Letting it sit for 5 mins and starting again has done the trick both times to get it going. I havent had it that long, been on a few rides in to town and back (Bunbury). The prev owner said it may need a carby clean, I thought this was the sort of thing I might want to tackle myself. I did some research and it seems beyond my mechanical ability so I havent touched them other than spray some Carb Cleaner all around the exterior housing. I performed an oil change with a new K&N filter last night. I have brand new brake and clutch levers waiting to to fitted (current clutch lever is snapped just back from the ball-end). I attempted this but the age of the bolts/threads appears to have lead to some wear and I cant remove them. I have a full bottle of brake fluid for it too. Oh I've also kero-ed, cleaned, regreased and tightened the chain too.

Thanks acegalaxi, replied to you via the email .

Still happy to hear from other people with roadworthy and registered GN/SR/CB or similiar older style bikes!
