    price negotiable

i've got a couple of quotes , seals are about $250-300 fitted for a pair , although I'd suggest chucking new springs at it at the same time which makes it around $500 , but then you've got nice new front setup , and you can pick your spring rate to suit your weight / riding style.

standard service seems to cost around $200-250 , or change the oil / plugs yourself

It's definately quicker and although older feels much more refined than my newer (2006) VTR although

pretty sure the spada has more power than the VTR, and also has a different gearbox to the VTR, yes? If you're in the market for a VTR this would be worth a look.

Yep 6 speed vs 5 speed. Spada revs about another 3000rpm and is less restricted emissions wise as well. Deltabox style frame and better riding position make it nicer in the corners.

    Bloody lovely little bikes.
Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

They also put out 45 HP to the crank chuck a zorst on them and they sound nice

Put some braided lines and good pads and you have a very good 250 on your hands

If i'm not mistaken, people with there 250 license is restricted to 35hp?

Allthough if not, i'd say it's a good buy.

If I was forced to do my 250 time again, THIS is the bike I would buy.

Nothing wrong with a VTR, but the extra HP and gear would've been brilliant.

Nope, LAMS has a power to weight restriction, hence RS250's and RGV250's not being Learner Approved Motorcycles in those LAMS States. In WA, R-E riders can ride any 250cc road registered motorbike.
