Kawasaki ZXR750 1991 J Model - SOLD for asking price.

    And SOLD!!

Posting this for a friend as he is upgrading. However, seeing as I sold it to him, I can answer most questions.

The ZXR750's are one of the original in line 4 sportsbikes, they are a solid bike with a reputation for reliability. Renowned as one of the most stable cornering bikes ever produced they are predictable and planted in the corners, making them an ideal street bike.

    The Bike Details

    Make: Kawasaki
    Model: ZXR750J
    Year: 1991
    Kms: 63XXX

    The Good
    New fuel Pump installed
    New Chain and Sprockets
    New Fuel Lines
    New Fuel Filter
Carbys rebuilt and tuned (new needles, jets and seals)
    Shims checked and in spec
Brake calipers rebuilt with new seals, pads and fluids

    The not so good
Cosmetically she could use a little love, some of the fairings are cracked here and there from being taken on and off for the last 19 years. I would suspect that the bike has been dropped at some stage as there is evidence of repair to some of the fairings.

Tyres are Dunlop DT207's and have a bit of life left in them, There are a set of Pirelli Dragons that could be offered with the bike to the right buyer.

Asking Price is $2650, you can call Josh on 0412 38 36 34 or contact me on here.

Specs can be found here 1991 Kawasaki ZXR 750 specifications and pictures

Pics (Yes, I realise there is a Perth Riders watermark on it, no you don't need to point it out)

Fuel problem was sorted. Most of that was chasing out tail trying to work out what the problem was, The bike wouldn't run with less than a half tank of fuel. It turned out to be the breather in the fuel cap was blocked, so it wasn't letting air into the tank, therefore causing a vaccuum.

In Duncraig at the moment, but he'll probably bring it to my place in Koondoola due to his working commitments making him hard to get a hold of. Those pics are about a year old but the fairing still looks the same.

This 1991 model J is the one to get in regards to upgrades in both engine shortstroke 749 and USD forks and frame directly borrowed from the all conquing K model (ZXR750RR) Kawasaki won in 1991 the World Endurance - , the AMA Supersort 750 - and the Australian Superbike Championship.
1992 model is the ZXR750L and the race version M.
The most sought after is the first one H, but nowhere near a s good as the model here for sale!

Fucking cheap price, if only we could get 250's now days for that. So frustrating to see a ZXR-750 for $3350, then realize that the only bike I could legally buy for that price is a CBR125R...

    Good luck with the sale.
