Bimota YB 8 1988 model. Price $14500 firm.

This bike was sold new into Japan, then had little use before coming to WA early last year. 9000 kms from new. (Approximate value when new $35 000 Aus).

The frame is visually identical to Bimota's 1987 world superbike winning YB 4EI frame. This model is powered by a Yamaha 3GM 5 valve 1002cc EXUP engine, making around 145hp. Running gear includes rare Ozcam wheels, Marzocchi suspension (rear with ride height adjuster), and top line (for their day) Brembo 4 spot calipers with 320mm full floaters.

Recent new BT 16's, new rear disc, new fuel pump, forks serviced, registered until August. Bike is also fitted with YB 10 Body work. Pics of bike featured in PSB garage. Immaculate in out under and especially to ride.

Log books also included.

Extremely fast and capable, these bikes were years ahead of their time.
