Chasing a nice mk2 aprilla rs250 mods ok . As long as the bike runs and hasn't had the balls thrashed of it. . And under 30 ks I'd pay the right price .

Rick Gills have one. From what I'm told it's pretty quick too. Think they're asking around 7ish.

Mine could be up for sale soon, I'm in two minds about it tho at the mo.
9900km, extremely good condition and runs very well. Will want around $8000 tho
for me to consider parting with it. Only downside I can think of is that it has crappy
(but new) tyres fitted. Has Arrow exhaust fitted (jetted to suit) and original kept.

8000k is steap ! But not unreasonable if u have lusted over it and is in near perfect Knick.

I've personally never ridden 1 . Few rgvs and rg250s . Just love them will have a look at ricks next week and let u know how I go

Theirs 1 over east that's heavily moded , tuned and just been rebuilt I can get landed here for round the 7500 mark

There are more over east, hence they are cheaper. 8k I wouldn't think to be unreasonable for a good condition one over here. Like a lot of 2 stroke bikes they are getting hard to find, and finding a good one is even harder.

Yeah cheaper over east but their not a 20k bike . So ur still lookin at an extra 1000 to get it here . And for a 7000 bike it's still a lot .

I have to sell my zx6rr to make room for the bike but deff want an april a rs250 . Shame not to bring another 1 overbite the west though . The bike I'm talking bouts on bike point for round $7500 .. But nice mods and looks well cared for . I WANa take it to barbs with diff fairings and play with the other fella running in the f2 class!! Be nice to see a cheap fun class of production 250s again rgvs vs rs250s

im thinking of selling my 2003mdl if anyone's interested, i am over east tho, rebuilt 2000km ago, i have a heap of spares to go with it, has all the good parts on it, never raced, after about 8g with the spares

There is no reason you cant pick one up for the 2.5 -5k mark in WA.
Blown up heap for 2.5 and 5 for a runner.
If you come racing and track riding, you dont want a mint example, as you will taste the bitumien.
You will go over the bike to make everything run right, so no point buying someones masterpiece.
Try and get something with pipes if you can.
Hope you get one and get out there next year. At this stage there are 3 rgv's confirmed, 2 rs 250's, a vfr400 and 1-2 sv650's up with a confirmed 15 125gp's.

That'll be right!! And here's me buying a 05 cbr600 tnite. . Good buy though . so if next year picks up in f2. My avitar is of a gsxr400 for f2 a few years back . I'd still be keen to buy a cheap rgv ! Ur write bout the rs hitin the Tarmac . But I'd still love to ride the chasis and try the brembos .

Deff best fun I've had on the track was with the rgv !! Goin round out side of CBR1000s on the lhander ! But me bein 95kgs 6"2 . I'd make it work . Really good to see all the rgvs up for next year though !! Those damn sv650's just arant fair !!!

Seems like the class with the most crash potential given the wide spread of bikes and rules .

Hey if anyone is chasing any bits to get a RS 250 on the track ive just converted mine back to road so i got a couple good sets of race glass and few other bits like rear sets etc

Thanx. I agree with Gangus u r better off getting a roughie if it strictly for track.
I am thinking of doing the same next year but not with one of my current bikes as I

But when the bike pulls in or is just sitting in the pits . Ppll and more importantly the groopys will be that bike looks so god damn sexy!!

I sore a striper once for a few months and she offered to pose nude with my bike if I'd like . Goin back 5-8 years ago . Bike was no rs butbit looked pritty hot for a track 98 rgv . Should have taken her up on her offer .

She was 18 and worked at zeldas in rock0 . Body like a godess only 18 . But head like a rotating meleroot. Think she mite have caught on that the shots didn't have her face in them . But god did she have a body on her!! And costumes !!

Just paid for the CBR600RR 05 model 6250kms . All road gear like new . First reg mid 06 same owner .Has orig invoice to prove it !! Reckons his never hit the redline ! and never clutch less shifted ! Run in was done better Than spec stated.

Guy is 60 somthing and just can't handle the track any more . given his got a cruser . Just wanted to try it bfor he died .

Bike is bone stock though !!! Bar a set of valmoto rear sets .. And a top nz company made a set of race glass for him + paint .

All this for $6000 Inc all of the road gear !!!

Kinda thought righto can't really go wrong here . Can't afford 2 bikes + my sv1000 and I've still got a supetsport spec zx6rr 03 with heas of spares and road gear . Bikes regoed . but hasn't run fr 3 years due to an elec fault and has been droped 3-4 times + medical issues over the last few years . Figure I sell it pay for my lucky buy deck it out with extra cash from zx sale . And then if the f2 class farms off the svs !!!

Rs250/rgv 250 here I come with monies still in the bank . Blody good few days!!!

2003 ive just dusted them off so you can have a look at your leisure
