Yamaha XV535 (a cruiser) 1991 model, 37,000km. Rego till March 26. $2000
It's a nice step up from a 250, happily goes 110 but will not kill you with power.

Owned since April 2009, and 32,000kms. Only used as a weekend rider and never ridden hard; at 6’ 4” it was a bit small for me, so I never used it as a daily rider.

Always started and rides reliably. Ridden to and from collie a couple of times without drama

In the 2 ½ years I’ve owned it it’s had:

• New front and rear tyres, new front brake pads and caliper overhaul all from the Honda shop $820 – have receipt (1/9/09)

**All other maintenance has been done by myself**

• New fuel reserve switch solenoid installed.
• New steering head bearings
• New exhaust and inlet gaskets
• Carbies cleaned and 1 re jetted with Keyster carb kit (the jets in the other carb would not come loose)
• Carbies balanced (with carbtune)
• Valves clearances checked and adjusted
• Oil & filter changed at 32,000 and 36,000km (dif oil at 36,000)
• Second hand OEM exhaust from ebay (with small dentt).

Spares:

• Exhaust system (home made straight pipes – very loud but not very legal)
• Rear sissy bar and left dink peg (the right dink peg is MIA)
• Keyster Carb Kit (1 full carb kit plus all the old jets from the carb that have been pulled out)
• Haynes service manual
• 1 spare key (aka two in total)

The bad:

• Despite carb balancing the bike can ‘pop’ on deceleration – my guess is the carb diaphragms are getting old.
• Tank and mud guards have a home paint job. Chrome on engine casing is 'tatty'

Reason for sale: I’ve upgraded to a vfr800 and can’t keep 2 cars and 2 motorbikes.
