ZXR250 for sale. Genuine reason for sale, I still have a few months before i go for my R class however a mate has offered his R1 to me which i dont want to miss out on. Should his bike sell before mine, it will be taken off the market. Will start first time even on cold mornings. Has been on a 560km country run and showed no issues. Used mainly to commute from Mirrabooka to Canning Vale.

Bike has the original fairings, as can been seen in the pics they are in good condition considering they are 21 years old. Cracks around one of the front indicators possibly from a stationary drop in the past, or a banging from a knee on the way past.

The bike has still got 7 months rego left and has been placed on gumtree today.
I have already recieved one scammer email, which I took as a serious enquiry until he started saying he'd put a deposit on it through a bank transfer. Due to the effort put in the email reply i will also place a copy of it here for extra infomation.

Condition is good considering its age, it isn't as if it has rolled off the showroom floor. As far as the service history i have documentation of the previous owners servicing he had the bike for 2 years with the intention of getting his license but never did. The bike has done about 5000km in my hands (in about a year) during which i have completed a coolant change, and oil change approximately 2500km ago.
I have had the bike for about a year and the only reason for sale is i have a mate willing to sell his r1 to me for a very reasonable price. However should his bike sell before mine i will take my bike off the market.

I can send you more pictures, do you have any requests? It has the original fairings which tell you a lot about its life, shows signs of age (scratches) but does not look like it ever been slid down the road. The area around one of the indicators is cracked and has been repaired. I believe this may have been caused by someone knocking it as there are no other signs of it landing on its side.

Mechanically the bike it perfect starts first time in any weather and i don't believe it will give you any issues in the near future. The only thing i could suggest if you were to buy the bike is to have the suspension serviced and tuned for your weight. The bike has fully adjustable suspension including preload and damper settings. Getting it tuned to your weight will make it a dream to ride.

I have had a bit of interest in the bike in just 1 day of advertising however the price is negotiable for a quick sale.

hey, is this still for sale? If so whats your weight and what is the lowest you will take?

if your a heavier rider these bikes are more suited then an ex250 or hyo as they have abit more power but also have adjustable suspension. i also remember the seats being abit wider.

Yeh still for sale within past two weeks it has gotten a brake and chain service.

Chain lubed every 500km within my ownership. Does have fully adjustable front and rear suspension, preload and damper.

TurboR1, Is there a race series in perth? Been pretty lazy trying to sell as i dont need to, just too much peer pressure to go for my open class.
