    2001 R1 exup valve

    Hi all,
As title says I am after the exup butterfly valve (complete minus servo and cables ) out of the header system as my one is screwed... Anyone with and old set of headers laying around with the exup valve in tact give me a yell I need to get the bike back on the road ASAP

Wire it open and leave it. Will be a little bit boggier down low but the power comes on thick and fast higher in the rev range too

When mine went in my 99R1 I bought new headers which had a working exup valve from motorcycle masters. The the valve in mine had snapped and I couldnt turn it or get it out. I cant remember how much it cost but Im sure it wasnt much.

Give that a go you'll have a full system, youll probably get a error code though if you remove the exup motor without eliminator installed.

Ouch. I was in the fortunate position that mine was only sticking a bit. Best of luck.
