WTB/Borrow: 09 R1 Parts (Genuine)

Hey guys,

Chasing some genuine parts for an 09 R1 to rid it of a pesky yellow sticker.

From what I can see I will need:

1. Rear Fender/Mudguard
2. Chain Guard
3. Genuine foot pegs (if someone can tell me if I will get away with a/market pegs it would be great!)

I think thats about it, I am guessing I will need to swap my non-tinted screen back on, as well as my original levers (unless Pazzo's will pass the inspections).

Will be happy to purchase, or provide a carton if someone would be kind enough to lend the parts to me for a few days?

WTF!? When did this happen? It depends on what they pulled you for. If you have the time it can pay to go get it inspected, get the cops one changed with an extension to a DPI one and then see what they pick up. Go from there.

I would only say it would be FE that would be the main issue. Your exhaust is all factory. Levers and pegs should be fine.

On the ride today...lucky u slept in as all 3 of us got stickers!

Yeah they marked it down for no mudguard, no reflector and shitty n/plate light. Will have to find some time to get it over as I'm back to work Monday but hopefully fairly simple to get it back on the road!

All the crime and real wrong doing happening in Perth and they bother working, taxpaying ppl for this minor shit. I just got done $100 by them for not indicating on a small roundabout which I was going straight through on. They said they were being nice by not stickering it too.... gee thanks cnuts.

Just throw a fender on it. I got done for mine a while ago now. DPI inspectors never mention aftermarket pipe, levers, screen etc. Just commented on how fucking pathetic the police ar for wasting their time with that sort of shit. I went to Warwick.

you should be fine with just the fender and chain guard, they don't give a shit about rearsets or levers.

I'm back at work Monday - was gonna pick up the fender and chain guard off JB on Tuesday arvo and get it fitted that night if possible. If I can get it sooner (tomorrow or something) I'll let u know.
