Nemo, you're doing yourself a disservice. Reel mowers are way better than rotary mowers. I was going to hijack thread and ask PJ if I could have the reel mower but hard to justify since i have no lawn at my house. I'm still considering it regardless. Reel mowers generally sell for twice as much as their rotary counterparts. $50 is a steal dude...
Sorry for selling yours down Jonts...
Edit: Upon further research, rotary mowers DO have their benefits. They seem to allow you to mow your lawn and finish faster, and can assist the lazy gardener by allowing you to cut taller grasses and weeds which the reel mowers have trouble with ie. you need to mow your lawn more frequently if you have a reel mower. Rotary mowers also deal with obstacles better than reel mowers... Now i understand why you might prefer the rotary mower.
Apologies, please carry on...

Well hope its still $50 now as meant to be getting tonight..
On another note prior to reading this mind you have offered Nemo my one as a freeby. Figured he needs it more than me at the moment.
I too am chasing a cheapie Petrol Rotary mower if anyones got an old unwanted one! (preferably rotary cos i can double as a whipper snipper)
erno.
Being picked up tonight sorry
