I suggest you do a little research on the net and then give us a more specific description of what you want.

Chipped has nothing to do with it's online capability. If you were going on line I would have said scrap the xbox idea and buy a ps3

why would he do that if he wants an xbox? some games don't cross platforms. they're not that expensive if you don't get the ones without a big harddrive, and with xbox's new cloud save thing, i dare say you don't need a massive one (i'm not using it yet, but i hear good things) plus if you get a new one, you get warrenty et al, which is handy IMO

I used the cloud save. Had some issues at one stage and couldn't access my files. Not sure why. So now I just use my thumb drive to swap between machines. (yeah have 2 of them)

Having a hard drive is good sometimes as you can "install" the game on it so the game can run smoother and less disc spinning. Quiet as well too as the disc spin is loud on some machine.

Mate of mine picked up an arcade version for $160 during boxin day sale and bought a HD thingy off eBay for $50 so still cheap.

The chipped box i lend to him before had issues with playing some new kinect games as it can't update. So still good to play older games

Ahh if they're buggy I'd probably not bother, to clarify I just want a Xbox 360, nothing fancy, doesn't need to have anything more than a 20GB HD, all I want it for is to play forza 4 lol. If someone can sell me an Xbox that will do that one task that's all I require.

I got one, bought it new with 2 wireless controllers and about a dozen games, played it a handful of times and it's been gathering dust since. Everything's roughly 5 years old. Not sure what it's worth, make an offer.

EDIT: $150 collected sound ok? If you don't think its a fair price take some games out of the equation as I probably wont use them anyway.
