Standard Yamaha filters, have 2 or 3 prepped so they dry and then the oil gets a chance to soak thru,
    .
Oil them in a bag with Rock oil water washable foam filter oil so you dont need damaging solvents, squeeze out ecxess into newspaper.

10 yrs Enduro experience, never a failure except when a dealer did the filter and left it full of solvent or something and the crap oil they used was innefective.

They look to be good quality and have been good so far. Great price for 2 filters.
As above use foam filter oil, I also grease the lip to ensure a excellent seal.
I wash mine with citra force, this is a natural product that won't degrade the foam. Mix at about 4:1 with water in a container massage your filter and get all the old filter oil out then rinse with the hose and it should look brand new.
I hope none of yous took my advise on this. 2 of my filters fell apart and the citra force is the only thing I can attribute it to. I did spray it direcly on last time this could have something do with it. I may not have rinced troughly eough.

i use twin air but mainly due to convenience as my local shop carries them, thay last well though and arent too badly priced. I will always swear by No Toil oil aand cleaner, its the shit, biodegradable and no need for cleaning solvents, for the lanno trips friends of mine use fine pool filter covers bought from bunnings as a very cheap alternative for filter socks, havent tried myself yet, just hae spare filters ready to go, grease the rim too, its not hard and doesnt take long :p
F@#k the whales... Save the 2 strokes!!!

For years I was using mineral turps no rinsing and never had a problem. Was getting the citra force for free and it's enviromentaly friendly but it turns out it cleans them to well. cleans the glue out of the seams.

    Oh well Live and learn.
