    Honda Off Road - CRF250R or CRF230R

    Hi ya

Im looking to buy a new off road bike. I had an XR100 and it was fun but I've grown out of it. I'm looking to get something a little bigger and more fun and that I wont get bored of soon.
I love riding but Im not that great on the technicals (still learning). I've read a bunch of reviews and was just hoping to get some further input (in plain english).
Im also open to other bikes suggestions.

If you have to ask the question between those two bikes I'd get the 230 a good step up from the 100.

The 250 has about 10cm taller seat height then the 230. That may be important depending on how tall you are.

250X has shorter service intervals and costs more to service in general - things like pistons need replacing on a frequent basis (40hours I think)
It goes heaps faster and the suspension is much higher quality (fullly adjustable)and much stiffer, lighter weight too, seat will be higher. It is a race bike that is allowed to go on the road.

230 is much softer, will last longer, but not be as fast.
