Are KTM really known for the unreliability? What are the servicing intervals for KTM bikes? I've had my eye out for KTM 525exc's

ktm's are fine. my 300 gets 100 hours out of piston and rings before it needs changing. my mate has a 525 and its still going strong after 200 hours on original piston rings. just need to check valves fairly often which is easy on a 525, they are even easy to adjust yourself on a 525. i think service intervals would be something like 5 hours for oil, 10 for oil filter, 15 for valves, and air filter after each ride.

also if your after a very clean 06 525 exc rockingham power sports has one. i think about buying it every time im in there.

Yeah I've seen that one on bikesales, definitely a clean bike however I'd be looking at turning it into a motard.
Just don't have funds at the moment and I wanted to get an idea of how these things do for servicing
