Never ben a big fan of lowering links, they drastically change geometery. But setup your sag, from memory between 90 and 120 mm rider sag and then you can figure out if you need a different spring by subtracting static sag. I'm up north so I can't double check the measurements and differences in the book. I'm sure someone knows of by heart.
changes as little as 2mm make a difference when talking fork height.

or you could go the M12's (medium compound)

Bridgestone M403/404, and Metzler MC5 are also good medium compounds. Those pirelli scorpions are good too.

Just remember tho coming into summer if you ride anywhere thats got some hardpack/limestone/gravel it will tear knobs off no matter what tyre you get. Just use a cheapy on the rear. Front should be ok with soft-med compound still.
M12's are very good , i Had them for my last set and they wore very well .............

Marty_Blade is a speed wobble or is the wheel hopping. If hopping it's due to rim lock throwing the wheel out of balance. For faster riding and racing we ballance the fronts.

As far as tyres are concerned for the CRF give the motoz X-Circuit a go on the rear, they last a hell of long time and don't chip or chunk out even on rocks.
