Wilful Damage and Theft to ATVWA motorcross Facilities.

Hi everybody,

Just to let you know that someone(s) has broken into the ATVWA track and wilfully damaged property. During the week (Thursday, I believe) someone(s) stole the front gate padlock and then forced their way into the timing shed and stole a number of donated items including a UHF that was mounted to a cabinet, multiple headlamps and other bits and pieces.
Then again yesterday someone(s) cut and removed the new gate padlock and then proceeded to throw tables and chairs etc. onto the track. They then tied a rope onto the safety barrier system at the top of the bridge on the track and pulled them to the ground damaging them beyond repair. This is especially concerning as these barriers are under hire.

We have contacted the Police and they inform me they will conduct patrols of the area to which we are very thankful. An investigation into this wilful damage is being conducted and we will catch the people responsible.

I wish to ask all members & any day membership riders to please stay vigilant whilst using that track and facilities. If you see anything out of the ordinary please contact me so I can do what I do and rectify it immediately.

If you have any information no matter how small you think it may be please contact me about it as we would like to see these people bought to justice.

That's up in Woodbridge isn't it? If so it sounds like locals as that's a fair hike for your avg shit heads to go and cause trouble

It does get a fair bit of passing traffic with people going to lancelin and what not.

Sounds like disgruntled member if they've destroyed the barrier fence.
