I grew up in Mackay, QLD. The main bridge into town is about 80% pothole, most arterial roads aren't much better.
I know Perth has good roads (as Australian roads go), but the quality still isn't on par with those in the video. Probably because it doesn't rain enough over there to wash them out.

I was in Sydney last week, (guess what for...) and i saw about 20 odd motorcyclists.

About 3 had a helmet.
