I hope as this is a blog, I am allowed to speak freely.
Isn't it funny how when a group of people disagree with another group on a rather sensitive issue, those with the upper hand have the last say and close the discussion.
And how people threaten to leave a community just because they don't agree on ONE issue, they forget that there are a million other issues and causes that they DO agree on.
I didn't take part in the Compo discussion, I have strong views...

I might start a diary of my adventures on the Tube.
The place is crazy.
I currently work in Canary Wharf, which can be seen here. As you can see, there are a few HUGE buildings still being built.
That's all good and all, BUT THERE ARE ONLY TWO STATIONS SERVICING CANARY WHARF.
The two stations are already under enough pressure to deal with the current population commuting daily. How it's going to handle another few buildings' worth of workers...

going to post a decent blog today.
I had the idea rolling around in my head all day.
But, alas, it is past 10pm and my brain's already gone to bed for the night.
So, hopefully I'll remember what I was going to blog about and try again tomorrow

i have been consoling my sister in law over the sudden loss of her mother. she was supposed to go to india in three weeks to see her mum, but she flew out last night instead for the funeral.
my house is full of sadness and reflection, and the feeling of helplessness of being so far away from the people who need us the most.
it makes me realise that NOTHING is worth more than the precious time you get with your family and friends.

Bristol to Cardiff, we drove into what we thought was a smoke cloud. We were wrong. It was fog, and lots of it!
