My friend Deb has a Yamaha DT230 that seized up a while ago - it ran out of oil (faulty oil level warning light). I'm guessing it will need a new piston kit fitted, and possibly getting the barrel re-plated.

Is this something that you would be willing to do? She's not expecting it to be free (cash is available); it's more about having someone do it that's knowledgeable with two-strokes and who will be able to advise her on what parts to replace.

Well the flu finally departed about 2 days ago so I have been cranking up the work that I've let slide for the last coupla weeks.

Bikes all prepped for next w/e, just gotta see if my wets are in & get them fitted.

Gotta pop up to drop off my new fairings & paint for the tata man & get ya to take a look at maybe modding the bottom of the fairing for a bit more clearance for the bottom of the rear shock (it currently touches the bottom of the fairings on the bike).
