    Hi

posted this message in the Skinz thread on group buy - hope its ok?

FYI - AMart All sports has a sale on today - Skinz are 25% off at Midland which has Skinz long bottoms for $105 and the long top for $80. Though there are two types of tops one is for $72

They also have 20% off the Nike equivalent - which are cheaper to begin with.

Don't know if other AMart stores have the same prices

Similar to a great book, an evening with friends, or the company of someone that you love, racing for me is something that is always looked forward to, the simple concept of competing against yourself and the two people around you..... or if you are on your own (in a gap by yourself), you are constantly analyzing and evaluating exactly what you and your bike are doing to get through that corner slightly faster, with better drive, braking later, accelerating earlier to improve that lap time. For...

Recently with a lot of work, both paid and unpaid, life has been imposing stresses that just don't quit. They are constantly in the back of my mind, niggling and reminding me that no matter how tired, stressed or over-worked I feel, there is still something else that needs to
be done, and soon!!!!!

Last Saturday I was in one of those places where no matter what you are attempting to do, your not doing it well, or even doing anything, just mulling over everything that you...

Its interesting how you can just lose track of time when you are in the moment...... be it playing a sport, writing, doing a project or (GASP!) working.

Last night was a classic example.....

New squash season coming up. I train from 6:30 through till 9pm. A huge amount of time on the court. I get home, don't feel all that mentally tired, so sit down at the computer to continue what is my current pastime.... browse PSB... NO WAIT, correction, continue writing my...

Well after some prompting, decided I would add another chapter to the cluttering of the interwebz.....

Trying to set up the suspension for the race bike, I have found three things......

1) The stock suspension on the R6 is very inadequate.

2) There are many different companies out there claiming to be able to take your money, and make the suspension better, both in components, and based on experience.

3) no-one anywhere has assessed/compared...

After knowing a few people on PSB for the last 2+ years, late last year I met Xsorxspire on one of the early and few PSB rides that I did attend. He walked up to me, introduced himself, and had a chat when no-one else did. Since then I have got to know him better and am constantly amazed at the insight, and warmth he displays for everyone.

Reading his blog was the next step and the main inspiration to doing my own.

I don't aim to emulate what has been done, but...
