Ha ha, yeah I was thinking the same thing! Must be a featherlight rider - I reckon that thing would be starting to bend as soon as my ass got within three feet of that bike....

Yeah that was mentioned, apparently the owner is 200+ pounds (approx 90+ kg) and doesnt have any problem, but in a crash or hitting a mound/pothole it may very well be a different story.

I think i would have braced vertically from the cut on the lower arm around the coolant bottle, I think over time he may start to sink

Is that giving you more ideas now spuddy?
Do we need to tell your minister for finance what you have in mind?
Looks like it could be pretty good though.

I like it. Add USD forks, twin front disks and maybe a bigger motor and it'd kick arse.
Doesn't the GPX600 motor fit in the 250 frame??

Ideas, sure! The guy has a massive step by step on what he did with it, with pictures for every step. Too bad the file itself is 300meg and he doesnt have the facility to upload that kind of size. He offered to possibly burn a cd for me, so if i get really keen i'll take him up on that.
But i love what he's done with dremel tool + upper fairing
and those exhausts are mint

Funnily enough, i went to DPI to apply for my personalised plate to replace it, and i had to fill out the stat dec for the lost one - and the process goes that you fill out the stat dec, and they give you a new plate for ~$12 - and then i immediately forked out another $455 for the personalised plate. Waiting for the custom plate is not an option, apparently. So when i give back the plate in 2 weeks to pick up the new one, the old one is still going to be in its plastic wrapping

Unsure about that, but I doubt it would.
The GPX250 frame is apparently only good for about 40rwhp before it starts to bend. They race them in the US, and the problems begin at around the 40rwhp mark (grenading engines and bending frames).

40-50 horses would be more than enough for something that size to carve up the streets. Can easily enough beef up the frame with some cross bracing too.
