Hi Nathan, currently using the said helmet for my work (instructor). I find the helmet quite noisy (though this is typical for a flip top) and not the most comfortable. The foam padding is quite hard. The N-com system works well at most speeds, I have been on the phone having a comfortable conversation at freeway speeds no probs.
Would I buy one again? Probably not, I may look at the Shoei flip top with aftermarket phone set up. Bit dearer but a lot more comfort. Realise though that I wear mine all day 6 days a week.

I have one, with the bluetooth and multimedia cable, tried it a couple of times just to test the sound quality as im still fixing my bike, I seem to like it but have realised since getting it that I wouldnt really use it for recieving calls that much. I think it would be pretty nifty for riding in groups as if someone else has one you could set it for intercom and its so much better than having to take your helmet off to talk.

Id give it a 7 out of 10

I ended up going for the HJC Symax instead. The Nolan felt clunky and cheap, shaking my head had the foam slipping and squeaking around inside the shell.

The HJC is a pretty nice helmet for a flip, if I wanted bluetooth I'd combine one of these with a bluant...

A mate got a Nolan, with the internal helmet set up, I tried it didn't like it sound was crappy, helmets was very uncomfortable, but that is a personal thing (I found it very clostraphobic), i think there are better systems out there, but Nolan have got one of the better intergrated systems

I use the shoei for work with aftermarket bluetooth . Very comfortable helmet and the bluetooth works fine .
