Calvin: I find that disturbingly hard to believe..! But who knows, the world is a strange place and maybe it is true. I mean, it's not as if Ducati are going to send a fax to Yamaha HQ saying "we're going to Rossi $15m, please don't bid $17.5m otherwise we might lose him".
Racing's a strange world, and who knows - maybe Ducati are satisified that Capirossi & Bayliss are getting as much as they can out of the new bike.. though IMHO they'd be crazy not to want the world's best rider in recent memory. Anything's possible...
I'm keen to see who Aprilia are going to ride with - after all, Rossi said he's doing "something crazy". I know there's a seat left at Kawasaki (I believe McCoy has left, Pitt stays) and Aprilia (Haga & Edwards left, Byrne has signed). No idea on whether or not Suzuki are retaining Hopkins & Roberts... similarly, Rossi could even end up on a Proton! From one V5 to another.
