MotoGP Laguna Seca
FP 1 has just finsihed, well done Casey.
http://resources.motogp.com/files/re...sification.pdf
His time is UNDER last year's pole
2008 FP1 Stoner 1'21.915
2007 QP Stoner 1'22.292
During the 2007 race, the fastest lap was Stoner's lap 19, 1'22.542
How in the hell has he set that time of 1.21, which is faster that the time set on qualifiers????
This is going to get interesting.
Early days yet, Rossi's quickest lap was his last, obviously he's found something.
But poor old Westy, compare his time with Hacking's.

Thought Edwards would be in the top 3.
Marco's best performance all year eh? Wonder if they'll really let him go.
Qualifying will be interesting.

I'd say Marco is definitely on the move, even though he is from the mother country if you don't perform you get turfed.

Injuries hurting pedrosa perhaps?
If that session is any indication of what will happen, stoner's going to run away with it.

Speculation is mounting, Pedrosa's injuries may not allow him to race.

Tomorrow, though, despite the good results obtained today, the Spaniard will decide whether to continue or not walking along this extremely hard path of folly.

Bloody oath
lets hope not for competitions sake ...
down to the last round would be good for all concerned..
yamaha spose to have a new electronics system ?(whatever that means )
might make it a bit more of a force to be reckoned with and if honda can get that pneumatic working it could be the battle of all battles goin into Valencia
with a bit of luck....
still 7 races to go after laguna ....

Well how funny this "New Electronics for Vale"
All over the world, the Rossi fans are mouthing off regarding electronics on Stoners bike and how it is the only reason Rossi has been beaten; Ducati electronics!
Casey is in a league of his own on that Duc, and it seems very hard to swallow for a great many who like clownesque antics more than actual toplevel motorracing!
Even on the second tier Honda in 2006 it was blatant that Casey has something very special!
Imagine Casey going to Honda- Yamaha!
He'll lap the rest of um!

wts^^
here's a couple of shots from Mugello this year. I asked a fellow Stoner fan from Italy what the situation is and she said that there are many anti-Rossi fans as well. The main reason for anti-Stoner is that they know he is good, very good and they can't handle him beating the clown with good old fashioned talent.
maybe they are suffering wishful thinking.
grind em into the dirt Casey, I say
