Jap import/wrecker in the house ??
I'm chasing and engine out of a 12/92 Diaihatsu Charade its a 1.3L 16valve fuel injected same as an applause too. Anyone work in or know a place ai could get one ??? I'm not after fitting just the engine

In Maddington is a Daihatsu wrecker who specialises in jap cars and does have a lotta stock.

Call Peter at Suzukishop (9350 5289) - he does Daihatsu stuff as well.

Otherwise, if you don't need something straight away, written off Charades are sold regularly at Pickles and Fowles.
