The MAD Ride 2008 Needs You!
Look at this awesome new cool social group!!! Everyone should join, all the cool kids are doing it !!! If you would like to volunteer to help out at the MAD Ride events of this year, please join in. Past volunteers are also welcome to join in.
The MAD Ride Commitee for 2008 is also looking for committed individuals to help out with the following areas (please excuse the job ad language ) :
Public and Media Relations Co-Ordinator.
Reporting to the MAD chairman and committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for looking after public relations and generating media coverage of the MAD Foundations activities. You will be working as part of a small team with other similar role focused individuals.
Suitable applicants will have a keen interest in the area of public and media relations. Past experience and training is not necessary but a huge bonus for the right candidate. The successful candidate would expect a commitment of around 4hrs a week and attend commitee meetings. Availabilty during office hours to accept phone calls and emails during some office hours a fortnight is required.
MAD is a volunteer organisation however has the ability to reimburse any pre approved expenses incurred in the course of this role.
Sponsorship and Corporate Relations Co-Ordinator
Reporting to the MAD chairman and committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for looking after sponsorship arrangements and relations with our valuable corporate supporters. You will be working as part of a small team with other similar role focused individuals.
The ideal candidate would be experienced in liaising with corporate decision makers, have the ability to make phone calls and attend meetings during regular office hours and be expected to attend committee meetings. An existing network of corporate contacts would be strongly beneficial in this role. A time commitment of 6hrs a week would be a normal workload for this role.
MAD is a volunteer organisation however has the ability to reimburse any pre approved expenses incurred in the course of this role.
How to apply:
If you feel you are able to help out with any of the above roles, please email your application to simonh@madride.org . Resumes are not necessary, but please thoughtfully consider your application and why you are suitable.
