asphalt hurts
As I found out today. Think the RGV seized on me today... unfortunately whilst I was doing 110.
End result - Near new Arai - ruined
Brand new mirrored visor for said Arai - ruined
Brand new gloves - ruined
The RGV? - dunno. Some rather kind local happened to have their trailer with them so the've taken it to their farm - top sorts!!!
That said, I'm glad I invested in good quality riding gear as I'm in relatively good shape.
At least now I know what it feels like to highside a bike...

Not having a go. Can't picture it.

Highsiding an RGV, I still don't remember what it feels like.
Hope you are OK champ, if you need a hand fixing her up, just shout.
My bet is you've dropped a valve.

Round a corner it's pretty easy, I always ride with my fingers on the clutch because of it. The back locks, swings round, then grips.
Similiar to a standard highside, just a lot quicker, you'd be on the deck before you realise what's happening.

Glad to hear you're ok dude! How're the injuries?
By the sounds of things it would've been pretty damn spectular to see from a bystander's point of view....
As said before, bike and bits can be replaced - you can't.
