yes for the first tank, 33:1.
After I bled the autolube lines I then diluted the premix. I also manually opened the oil pump to full open for long periods during the heat cycling.
It definitely has enough oil.

This thing sings. As it builds to 7k rpm you can hear that it means business, it starts to build an angry note. Then it comes on pipe at 8500 and it's holy shit what the fuck just happened.
Seat of my pants says that we're making peak power at around 11500.
Little bit of fine tuning to do, but I can finally say she's back on the road.

Yeah, i couldn't get pilot powers either, so went for the power race.
Impressed so far with them, i've gone from being off the tyres occasionally with the 092s, to leaning further and having a good cm or more left.
Did 200km on them over the weekend and they've just got the stringy bits taken off, not too much wear at all, consdiering they're a soft "race" tyre
They're definitely a lot softer/stickier when warm than when stone cold tho...

Well I intend on doing track days on this bike... and it won't be ridden in the wet... so the pilot race will be fine, probably better than the powers based on what I want them for.
Tyre wear is not a concern

Late Question
Sorry about the late question.Don't laugh but back when i used to run H1's.We moved the Sparkplug towards the rear of the cylinder and the chamberit was a lot smaller than the Rgv squish area. The piston to head clearance was about nutthing at 10,000 rpm or close enough that it didn't touch.Things have changed a bit,What compression ratio does the RGV run?

Stock RGV compression varies, but i think the VJ22s are all about 7.3:1?

7.3, 7.5 whatever, somewhere in that region. The manufacturing tolerances mean that you still have to measure squish whenever you change pistons etc as there are slight variations in height. But not an issue with stock gear as the squish is around 1.2-1.3mm so you've got .5 of a mm before you need to worry and the tolerances are not that bad.

Rgv
There are quite a few pistons with the pile of parts, they don't look to have a lot of wear.I noticed they are a flat top piston and the H1 is a domed and it sort of fits snug into the head. From memory around a 6.8-1 or close to that and the Suzuki seems to get a higher compression ratio from a flat top piston.
It must breath better than the early kawasaki's.Or the reeds trap it better and you don't loose it back into the carb.

Well here is the final push to get this baby sorted for the 2 stroke day.
Exhaust off again! f!@#ing leaks! the sealant didn't stick very well on this pipe so I have cleaned it up with a scourer pad and applied the sealant better this time around. Fingers crossed.
Well it did give me a chance to see how the heat wrap was doing. In some parts, not very well unfortunately! so I carefully dented the pipe to get the clearance I needed. Also the head had a bit of wear on it so I have put more heat wrap where it was rubbing, hopefully it won't rub through this time. The scratch near the middle of the dent is where the side stand rubbed through the heat wrap.
Time to put her clothes back on. As usual, these were filthy and had an inch of shit on them.
Got the dremel out and modified the V piece to take the straight plug heads. I'm pretty happy with the result, looks factory.
Done!
New tyres on tomorrow and 2 stroke day on saturday. Just got to dodge the rain now so she stays clean!

how did you make that nice dent in the can?
im going to have to ding in the chambers on the RZ to fit around the new swingarm and was thinking i would have to find an oxy so as not to accidently crease or otherwise collapse them

The exhaust rubbing on it, it touches the head. Rubbed through the heat wrap so i've put more heat wrap there to stop it rubbing through.

Getting ready for the new temperature gauge.
Pipes off again. Got a different sealant... going to use all the exhaust brackets and change the spacing around. I will prevail!
New temperature sensor in
Took the heads off for a look.
Right/Front cylinder
Left/Rear cylinder
Before I started I thought that I would need to jet lean based on what I had read and have been told. I will jet down 1 size and plug chop. I will also fit the flow commander whilst I am working on the carbs.
Pipes back on. Using another sealant.
New digital temperature gauge. A breeze to hook up and configure. Warning set for 85C... I'll probably change this to come on at 80C.
I'm using the rear exhaust brackets now. I think this has been part of the problem with the pipes leaking, the pipes were able to move a little. Now they are fairly rigid. They have also lined the exhausts up a little better, providing clearance between the LHS pipe and the RHS cylinder head. New spacers installed to help with alignment.
