We arrived yesterday. I never want to see another plane again after 26 hours of travel. I may have to make an exception to go to the GP @ Sepang in Oct.
My first stop was Causeway since they are right around the corner. Nice shop, geeze bikes are expensive here! We're off to go pick up Leland in Byford this morning. Will be in around for the next trackday or GP at the pub.

Fuel is only about $0.10 more than it was at home. I've noticed that pretty much everything else is quite a bit more. Global village my ass! It's nice here though. It feels like it will take some time to adjust but I like it so far. I'll definetly come out to the racecraft coming up. My bike won't be here till near the end of August but I'd like to come out and meet some other trackday junkies. Maybe I'll see about waving flags as well.
Everyone has been really great so far. Hondahoon has helped me out with some permit/import BS. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

So, I took the offer from the company in Bibra Lake. Heaps of money and seems like a good fit. Heading up to Barbs with Stephen on Sunday. Listen for the funny accent (Toe-May-Toe, that sort of thing). I'll be the one with the sad look of longing for my bike. It will be here Aug 26th. I volunteered to marshall @ Rd 4 as well. Smelling race gas is as close as I'll get to riding for now.
If you hear someone with glasses say "Eh", that's me, come and say hello. I don't know a single person in Perth yet.

i'm guessing you'll know quite a few people in perth very soon, specially if you're diving straight into the marshalling etc. welcome to our fair (but cold at the mo, well not cold like you're used to) city.
