My new (old) ride
Finally got myself a bike. It is a 1990 GSXR750AL (limited edition). Only done 20,000kms and still in showroom conditon. Not a scratch or dent on it and completely original. Rides like new.
Hope to see you guys on a ride soon.

WTF? 20k in 18 years? that's criminal. very narce though
mind you, bloke i met a few weeks back told me he'd just bought a 1974 bmw that still had the original tyres on it, cant remember how many k's he said it had. what a waste, leaving bikes in the shed all that time

I'm the third owner since new. Not an import. Lived it's whole life in WA. Meticulously maintained and looked after. Still running the original gold chain (part of the limited edition kit) and sprocket. Hasn't had a hard life and could pass for new (except for the odo reading!)
I'm a little freaked about riding it in case i scratch it ... or worse!!
