Yeah that was about 3 months ago.
I rode passed it on the way home and lol'd a little.
From memory it was more down towards Kelvin Rd.

Ah 000, no passengers.
Would have been a wild ride.
Unless it change to 000 once the driver realised he wasn't going to make his rounds that morning.

It's amazing how many cars you see bogged between lanes on Tonkin. I swear it's the road the stupid people take to work.

than again, I'd rather have soft sand than the jagged rocks that are just south of Collier Rd. Every tiem I ride past there I shudder.

I rode past that and it was up nearly Morley Drive, everyone going past was laughing hard at the driver. There was an accident or something the way he was originally headed and traffic was banked back for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

His brakes might have failed or had not been able to stop in time so took the off road route to save someone in front during heavy traffic?
The reason I suggest it is because Iv'e seen it before by a truck. From the back seat of the car in front of it.

Plausible, but he's pointing straight towards oncoming traffic. Would be a bit of frying pan to fire if he hadn't have gotten stuck. If he was avoiding something a smart driver would plow into the sand parallel to the highway, not across it. Which, depending on speed, would also be a rolling hazard.
Looks more like a failed u-turn.
