What an awesome night..... Carl Cox rocked...

I spent most of the night by the front door, near the stairs, found that the only place that there was some room to move, I rocked that night... Now its all just a blur...

Thought I saw a photographer there, thought it might be you djn, next time I might even say hi...

Till then BTW

He was quite good. Certainly came out with all guns blazing but the "sounds of silence" was a bit ordinary. Ah well at least it only happened right at the start. If DJ Nitrous was there, did you get any pics of the booth set up?

Was a bit loud. That most (if not all) the music come off digital source made the sound bright/harsh and a bit tiring. My ears are still ringing.

Those dudes on before were a bit ordinary. The guy with the McLaren shirt was not bad but played about 6bpm too slow for my taste and his set was a bit flat generally. I guess he didn't want to burn out the crowd before PvD came on. The one before that must have been having an off night as he had a few train wrecks and set construction/progression was a bit naff.

I left at around 3.20 when there was some vinyl being brought in - did he play those or did someone else come on?

yeah too right it was a bit loud! the bit of re-wiring at the start when he was having problems seemed to pump up the volume. and yeh McLaren boy (Kenny L) was a bit flat but played some good tracks.

i don't recall any vinyl at all, and i was there until pvd finished at 4ish (or maybe i'm just blind  )

I would have, if I knew who you were ha ha. I saw a guy taking pictures and thought it might be you - I asked him if he was from PSB but he said no

DJN do you know who the guy was standing up by the booth monitor near the lighting desk? Wearing cap and a Free the Bass top - can see him in your upstairs shot. It looked like Richie McNeil from hardware.

oohh man intense night. had a blast.

i was lookin for ya DJ but i couldnt see u and id kinda forgotten what u looked like

yeh i heard a lot of complaints at the start (before paul) about "this house shit", and as for the silence, that was his computer equipment crashing, not intentional.

oh and how faarked did paul look hahah. that photo sums it up, poor bugger must be so tired
