Well I've learned something.
Happy to report I just tried this, putting the bacon on before heating the pan- noticeable difference to the baconny goodness.

That clear ice one doesn't work.
Even the most pure water will still go cloudy if not frozen correctly.

Here is a tip that will change your life, and take just as much time.


Melt 200g butter with 200gm of cooking chocolate, throw in an egg and a handful of flour and 12mins under a grill and boom you will have chocolate fondants that will blow your nut.
