Electrics aren't working properly. Signals and horn work but not dash or lights, definitely not starter. Is anyone able to help with ideas? Thanks!

Its your battery... Do you have RAC membership, or any other form of roadside assist?

Can you park it anywhere safe and taxi/bus it to the bikeshops at Causeway and buy a battery?

Lloyd Chapmans @ 266 Lord Street are probably your closest source of a battery. Secure the bike, hail a cab? Were I not chained to my office I'd come for a spin and give you a ride, sorry.

I'm not in a hurry to get it going for now. Will try and find somewhere to park it though. Would someone be able to help me get it to khamal's or should I just call for a tow now? Thanks!

Only thing is khamal isn't answering his phone now so I'm not sure I can just get it towed to his workshop and leave it outside if it's closed.

what's it like to get the battery out of a speed triple?
do you have tools?

if you want I can go pick up a battery for you from chapmans as I work nearby
I have minimal tools in my kit though, usual stuff, pliers allen keys drivers etc

Not to hard from memory, the seat just lifts off exposing the battery, unless I'm getting that mixed up with the FZ1?

I'm pretty sure it's almost identical to the street? Lift seat, battery right there.

So the battery is not the problem... Does it with a new battery too... would someone be able to help me get it back home in Rossmoyne tomorrow afternoon?

Sounds very similar to the problem I had. If it's the same it's the ignition barrel and there isn't a quick fix.

Get it to JCS and hope they'll sort it under warranty

So the battery is not the problem... Does it with a new battery too.Do some tests on the reg/rec. It's a common issue.
I have a van and can help you shift it on Saturday if that's any help?

Take it straight to a Triumph Dealer...
If it is a problem with the Reg/Rec & you havent had it replaced yet, Triumph will replace it under warranty.
There was a recall for replacement, it is a known issue...

Got the bike where you need it? I'm near the city and can cart it in the van to the bike shops.

If it was the reg/rec it would have started fine with the new battery.
