Are you sure it was stolen? If it has been reported as stolen then kiss it goodbye as Transport will NOT re-issue a stolen plate. However if it gets reported as 'lost' then you maybe able to get it redone. Still a pain in da ass no matter what :(

Parked bike in Freo, went to work, plate gone. I call that stolen unfortunately :(

I'd heard it cost a shit load for them to replace them anyway. Think I'll just slip back into the anonymous world of having a standard plate...

I think it's even less than that looking at the Departments website.

Well I reported it to the police station in Freo straight away, mainly just so I didn't get pinged on the way home if pulled over. I guess that blows my chances of having them re-issued again, unless the Department of Transport let me report them as lost.
I see the form is the same for stolen and lost, just have to stipulate whether it was stolen or lost. Hmm, I don't recall specifically noticing the plates on the bike when I parked this morning...
Can't really say for CERTAIN that they were stolen then can I.

I'd rather just get standard plates anyway but the option to have the plates again one day would be good. I hope the dropkick that has them has fun, because this is why we can't have nice things!

At least the only one thing thats good about a standard plate is that they're harder to remember if you wheelie or hoon past a bike hating cager than a personalised plate.
Still sucks you got it stolen though.

I'll have to photoshop the plates now.

"Had my rego plate nicked in Freo in the last couple of hours."

--Well looks like you get the blame for---"Smash and grab,by murdercyclist"
"Hooning bike on PFF"
"Attempted kidnap In Fremantle...."
Hope to see your plate at a bike theft near Midland ,soon...
or on the Nullabore.....

Like Sookie said.."Why would anyone steal a fucking number plate.?"..( and a personalised one at that....!)

Sorry Huggie......."---at least the bike is still there" was it a Hyo....?

Stolen custom plates can be remade. Lost or stolen state plates: 1AB123 can not be remade.

Just had my standard plate nicked off the 4x4 and they issue you with a new set of plates, $25 from the licensing centre.

$125 from memory to remake custom plates though
