I've been an idiot and turned the key one too many notches. Now the battery is completely flat so i'll need a boost to get her going again.
Anyone near Vic Park that can lend me a charger/jumper for a couple of hours?

Cheers,
Rane

Rane, I'm in Bentley - and I'm home. Come and grab my charger if you want. But do so at your own risk- I'm in quarantine cos I contracted man flu off a male, so it's serious :/ I kid, I've had it a few days now so think you're safe from catching it.

Tried push starting

Running next to the bike with the clutch pulled in get some speed up, dump the clutch and hit the starter almost at the same time, when it fires up pull the clutch back in quickly.

It's a lost art.

when push starting, does pushing the starter button help even if the batt is flat as a tack?

I've seen people do it but never bothered out of worry about the impact on the starter.

Just put it in second, make sure the ignition is on, push your guts out, slam your arse on the seat and drop the clutch at the same time.

Your providing the spark/power to injector, as long as the battery isn't completely flat it will fire up.
