Can anyone help out to pick up a stranded bike in York.

I can't help out, but if you're anywhere near the townsite, see if you can get hold of some pepper and put it in the radiator. If the hole's not too big, believe it or not, it'll block it for you.

If you like country runs, I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

One of the 1st purchases I made for the new bike.

Got caught out near Dwelli once, real PITA. When I got the new 14, got a ding in the rad prior to install of guard (close call from city riding) - can't recommend it enough.

Easy to buy and fit, prob should've made my own at a fraction of the cost after seeing its construction...

Had this experience in Dwellingup last week. Now have 2 home made guards for both 600s for just over $50.

Chuck a stick of knead it under your pillion seat too.

We were wondering whilst sitting at the pub if this would've worked....

He ended up getting it fixed for about $75 + whatever the cost of the radguard he purchased while at the pub.

Doing it yourself is definitely the way to go.

I got holed on the way back from Geraldton, plugged it up at the servo and three years later there still wasn't a hint of a leak.

timely reminder for me to order a rad guard for the new bike...
